Ive never read the Alloy books, so not sure how the narration is handled there. Stupid New Victorian piece of crap. The USA falls into a second Civil War (presumably because of the influenza plague? Its never explained why this happens), which escalates to nuclear war and subsequent fallout. Couldnt even get the pictures off of it, not without a computer and no one around here had a computer.
